So it's been great since the end of exams! :) After the last paper, Social Work on Thursday evening, I was super duper tired and my brain was fried. Went through the whole two consecutive days with two papers on each day experience. Never. Will. I. Do. It. Again. Came home and rested and slept, had a horrible headache!
Friday I went out with my mum :) Watched Easy A which was a great show, a chick flick different from the rest, like Juno. I really like Emma Stone, she really grows on you - And nobody makes lingerie as outerwear look that good, even with a ridiculous 'A' on it hahaha and omg her legs are super slim!
Friday night headed to church for the CYM Orientation Camp, technically the camp began on Saturday but we (Dong, Andre, Eric, Fern, Jed, Stephen, Bryan and Joel) went a night earlier to prepare and clean up. Yup that means using the firehose to clean the entire open deck - always fun :D Macs for supper!
We were bored while waiting for Macs, so we photocopied our faces again. What a waste of church resources. NOT. Hahaha we turned them into advertisements and decorations for the camp, cause we were feeling guilty about wasting the ink and paper.
The camp went by really quickly, most of the time we were all like half-sleeping and slacking. The kids had boundless energy as always, and we were just super tired and sleepy. But omg the food budget for the camp was super high so we had really great quality food. Saturday's lunch was at the Chinese restaurant next to the MRT, teatime was yummy eggtarts and soya bean milk and dinner - a catered buffet spread? What happened to chicken rice from Grispy hahaha
Finally the camp ended on Sunday afternoon and then went for ice-skating with Peace CG :D Was awesomely fun, but more funny than fun. I'm so amused by this bunch of kids :) After we purchased tickets and entered the rink, I turned around to find Sean Quek all dressed up in his winter wear and gloves already HAHAHAHA what a sight. So we geared up and headed for the rink!
Sean Quek was such a good sport, he was probably the one who made the most rounds in the rink, he hardly stopped for a break and just skated and skated and fell many many times. Jeredy and I kept laughing when he fell and got up all by himself without any change in facial expression. It's cause he wasn't afraid to fall, that he had the most fun :)
Tongseng cracked me up too. I was just skating around then I spotted Tongseng at the middle of the rink, clutching the side bar. When I skated over, I realised Tongseng was shivering HAHAHA and he said "I wanna go back!" in a scared voice -.- Lol seriously Jeredy and I just kept laughing at him
I had a really bad fall once, was holding onto Ammon's hand when he suddenly fell and then I lost my balance and slammed my back against the ice omg super pain, bruises on my palms the next day :( Jeredy just laughed -.-
The girls were pretty good at skating, was nice watching them skate together, holding hands etc. Sigh, am gonna miss being in Peace next year :/
Monday was a really boring day. Dental in the morning woohoo I got my crown! :D More metal to add to the existing metal in my mouth hehe tuition in the afternoon, finally seeing Joel and Joshua after a whole month :) They are still naughty, nothing has changed.
Today met with Nikki! :D :D So super happy to finally see her. Funny thing is that I talk to her so much more when she was in Sydney than in Singapore. We had an almost 3-hour lunch at Durty Nelly's, her former workplace and they had a 1-for-1 lunch deal. And the food was great! We shared a beef goulash and a chicken cheese cutlet and a warm lava cake with ice-cream. Really good food + good talk :) Thanks Nikki also for the treat :)
Then we walked around all the shops she missed when she was in Sydney (though there is no Topshop/Forever 21/Zara, there is Supre and Sportsgirl there!!!) We both got tops from Forever 21, but other than that, there wasn't much at the other shops. We also got Christmas cards, yay, am getting into the holiday mood with all this shopping. The Christmas decorations are also up in every restaurant and shop which warms my heart, cause I love Christmas and I love December :)
We met with Auggy for dinner and after 45 minutes of debating over where to eat, we decided on Pepper Lunch. There really are so little places to eat on the Wheelock side of town. Really wanted to eat KFC but Shaw was closed for renovation. Apparently it was closed since 1st October, but we just found out. We browsed through Borders after that and I saw so many nice potential gifts! Their gifts section is great, real funny merchandise for sale :)
And after 10 hours spent with Nikki, I'm home now. Super tired and still aching from ice-skating. Yes I know, call me unfit, but I'm playing badminton tomorrow night HAH!
