After the whole Tiger airlines scare, Nikki got her ticket to Melbourne just one day before we left Sydney! Anyway it was a 9am flight so we had to get up real early to take a train to the airport. But we made it, wow and we reached Melbourne close to noon cause the flight was delayed anyway.. Air traffic.
When we landed, we took the Skybus into the city and then a little bus to our hostel, Space Hotel! It was at a good location, so we kinda walked everywhere, almost.

We basically walked around the city area and explored the streets and shops the whole afternoon. And then we went to Lygon for dinner after that :) I really wanted to try the gelato there, the one that Kevin recommended and raved about - Freddo BUT IT WAS CLOSED!
