If you care enough about someone else, you'll need to open your mouth every now and then to talk about what makes you upset, what gets on your nerves, what causes you to feel annoyed. If you don't, if you let it fester and brew and grow in your insides, one day it will come out like word vomit and you use words like "always" and "never" and "every time", even when you know they aren't true. And the thing about words is that you cannot take them back; you cannot reach your hands out to grab them because they travel way too fast. Sometimes, I find that I didn't even mean what I said. Other times, the meaning you made of it was not what I meant.

Talking is hard.
