Celebrating

Thankful for this past week :)

Wrapping up April means...
1. End of the yearly rotation at work
2. Tim's birthday!
3. New beginnings

I remember coming into May 2018 feeling all kinds of anxiety and fear - heading to a new team, seeing very different kinds of cases, starting an outpatient clinic, working with different people. The newness of it brought uncertainty and I was afraid. But looking back, I am so thankful for all the opportunities I've had to grow, and for God's help through it all. I did a few things I never thought I would do (and also likely wouldn't have been able to do on my own) - and I know it is by God's grace - his strength, his help, his provision through people / mentors / friends around me.

So thankful for the past year in SurgOnco!

It was also Tim's birthday last week and it was so nice to celebrate (and multiple times too). Just to make up for the fact he was in camp all week :)

Happy 28!!!

And the floorball people also had a chalet and BBQ over the eve of Labour Day. Ended up sleeping at 4am and waking up at 8 :O It was really nice hanging out and doing silly stuff (see below). And also bridge nights!!! Makes me feel young(er) again. But will likely pay for it tomorrow...

So what did you do in your late twenties?
